Supports new project Bid & Proposal activity by ensuring offered scope of supply is in full alignment and compliance with contract specifications and requirements. Identifies potential commercial and technical execution risks and recommends mitigation actions. Reviews project budgets to ensure they adequately cover design and scope of supply requirements.
Following contract award, communicates project scope, design, and deliverable requirements in a clear and complete manner to all internal groups. Coordinates closely with customer and internal organizations regarding any requested changes in scope or design and ensures that agreed changes are quickly communicated to all affected groups. Manages scope and design integration activities to reduce technical and execution risk and improve overall margins on the project.
Is single point contact with customer regarding all commercial and technical matters. ensures customer is kept fully informed regarding all aspects of their project and is responsible to understand and respond to customer concerns, issues, and requests.
Proactively reduces project execution risk by anticipating and mitigating commercial and technical issues while maintaining focus on customer satisfaction, quality of delivery, schedule, and costs.
Ensures on-time, high quality delivery of all hardware, information, and services in full compliance with project requirements. Provides management with regular project status reports detailing commercial and technical status, progress, risks, and opportunities.
Provides leadership to ESI and customer to ensure full compliance with company requirements during construction and commissioning of our scope of supply. Provide proper and timely resolution of all commercial and technical issues. Provide support and coordination to customers and their contractors.
At completion of project, ensures clear definition and swift closeout of project punch list items and ensures rapid closeout of commercial/contractual issues.
Candidates Must Have:
BA in Management or BS in Engineering is required.
At least 10 years industry experience is required, preferably with prior project management experience.
A balance between business management, customer relationship skills, and gas turbine power plant technical knowledge is required.
